The Midwest Transmission Project team conducted a year-long analysis to identify and evaluate potential routes and carefully consider all input from the public, landowners, agencies, and local leaders to determine the final route.

Reduced Route Network
The map to the right shows the potential route segments presented at the Phase 3 public meetings in May 2013. This interactive map is divided into separate sheets for easier, detailed viewing. The Midwest Transmission Project team carefully considered all input from the public, landowners, agencies and local leaders in order to reduce the number of potential routes to what you see here.

Preliminary Route Network
The map to the right shows the Phase 2 preliminary route network that was presented at the January 2013 public meetings. The network of routes was determined through an evaluation of the study area and stakeholder input.

Study Area Map
The map to the right shows the original study area that was developed and presented at the Phase 1 public meetings in August 2012. The preliminary route network was developed in this study area based on input received from the public, elected officials, and various agencies.
